Autism Mega Mom and family was founded on a simple but powerful belief that autistic individuals deserve to be heard, respected, and included in decisions that affect their lives. And their families need a community where they could freely express themselves, without fear of being judged, ridiculed, stigmatized, or even verbally abused in some cases.
For too long, conversations about autism have been led by autistic people rather than by them. Our name reflects our commitment to changing that narrative.
Mega mom represents self-expression, lived experience, and a mother who never gives up, believes in her child, and will do all it takes to support them.
Family reflects solidarity, bringing together autistic individuals, families, advocates, professionals, and allies to work as one community and creating a safe space for our Autistic individuals.
We believe that every autistic voice matters, regardless of age, ability, or mode of communication. By uniting these voices/families, we create strength, understanding, and meaningful change.
